Introduction

The Portuguese TV is playing (for the nth time) the 3 movies of the Robocop series. Yesterday there was one of them, and this reminds me that a while ago, I took a few notes on fantasy flags seen in these movies. The flags are those of two companies, the OCP, the company that built Robocop and that it keeps fighting, and a Japanese company called Kanemitsu, that in one of the movies associates with the OCP.

The flag of Omni Consumer Products Inc., the evil megaconglomerate, is a Nazi-like banner, seen several times in one of the movies: Red with white disc and the black symbol of the company on the disc. The symbol is a graphical arrangement of the initials.

Kanemitsu

The flag of Kanemitsu – it's seen as a carflag in some scenes and it's an awful flag: Dark green with a dark red border all around, a sort of a pointy saltire and a small canton with nothing on it, all red, at least according to my notes.
